Job description

The Test Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily testing operations within the manufacturing environment to ensure production targets, quality standards, and operational goals are achieved. This role leads test technicians and debug teams, drives productivity, improves first pass yield (FPY), and ensures efficient troubleshooting and resolution of server failures during production processes., Production & Test Operations Management

  • Supervise daily testing operations for server systems and rack-level assemblies
  • Ensure production schedules and throughput targets are achieved safely and efficiently
  • Monitor testing flow and allocate manpower based on production priorities
  • Drive operational excellence and maintain high productivity across the testing department
  • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Program teams to resolve operational issues

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop test technicians, debug technicians, and team leaders
  • Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate production goals and priorities
  • Train employees in testing procedures, troubleshooting methods, and safety standards
  • Enforce discipline, attendance, accountability, and company policies
  • Support employee performance evaluations and corrective action processes when required

Debug & Technical Support

  • Support complex server debugging and failure analysis activities
  • Assist technicians in diagnosing hardware, software, and system-level failures
  • Review failure trends and drive root cause analysis (RCA) activities
  • Escalate critical technical issues to Engineering teams with detailed findings
  • Ensure proper execution of debug procedures and repair validation processes

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive First Pass Yield (FPY) improvement initiatives
  • Reduce retest rates, fallout, and recurring failures
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and testing procedures
  • Monitor KPI metrics such as throughput, FPY, cycle time, and downtime
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve operational performance
  • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide daily production and test status updates to management
  • Prepare reports on yield performance, staffing, downtime, and operational risks
  • Communicate shift handoff information and unresolved issues effectively

Requirements

Do you have experience in Team supervision?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or related field preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing test operations, server debugging, or production leadership
  • Experience supervising technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of server hardware, testing processes, and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hyperscale servers (GB200, GB300, NV Switch, rack-level systems)
  • Knowledge of Linux, BIOS/BMC, and server diagnostics tools
  • Experience with RMA operations and high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge preferred
