Job description
We are seeking a skilled MSP Support Technician / Engineer 2 to support client environments, handle escalations, and maintain high service standards. This is an onsite role based in Schertz, TX with regular travel to client locations.
You will act as the bridge between Tier 1 support and senior engineering, resolving complex issues while delivering an excellent client experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as escalation point for Tier 1 technicians
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows, Active Directory, and networking issues
- Support VPNs, remote access, and user environments
- Handle high-priority incidents within SLA
- Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, VLANs, and wireless networks
- Diagnose VoIP/SIP issues (latency, jitter, packet loss)
- Support servers, virtualization, and storage environments
- Support security tools (Microsoft Defender, EDR/MDR, email security)
- Implement MFA, Conditional Access, and Intune policies
- Assist with security remediation and audits
- Work in ConnectWise Manage and RMM tools
- Maintain documentation in IT Glue
- Follow SOPs and escalation workflows
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Provide professional end-user support and client communication
- Deliver white-glove support when needed
- Assist with projects including M365 migrations, onboarding, and network deployments
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, * 3-5+ years MSP or IT support experience
- Strong Microsoft 365 and Windows/Active Directory experience
- Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Experience with PSA/RMM tools (ConnectWise preferred)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred
- CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft certifications, or CCNA
- Experience with VoIP (SIP / AbsoluteVoice / Netsapiens)
- Experience with Datto, Veeam, or similar backup tools
- Azure / cloud experience, * Valid driver's license
- Accept a background check
- Working in an onsite setting
- 2+ years of work experience with Firewalls
- 3+ years of work experience with Active Directory Experience
- CompTIA Network+
- 2+ years of work experience with Enterprise Switching
- 2+ years of Information Services experience
- 2+ years of Technology, Information and Internet experience
- Accept a drug test, * Firewall: 2 years (Required)
