Job description
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues via help desk tickets or direct assistance
- Troubleshoot and resolve software problems across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Manage computer hardware including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain and support computer networks such as LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, firewall configurations, and network security measures like Meraki and Cisco solutions
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Microsoft Windows Server environments, SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and other management tools for efficient system operation
- Support IT infrastructure components including switches, routers, firewalls, and server hardware to ensure reliable connectivity and security
- Assist with software deployment, updates, patch management, and system imaging using tools like SCCM or similar platforms
- Conduct analysis of system logs and network traffic to identify potential issues or security threats
- Collaborate with team members on network administration tasks such as DNS management, TCP/IP configuration, and LAN troubleshooting
- Support mobile device management (MDM) solutions to ensure secure access across smartphones and tablets
- Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users while maintaining excellent customer service standards

- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows Server), macOS, and Linux distributions
- Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP protocols, DNS configuration, VPNs, firewalls (including Meraki), and network security best practices
- Familiarity with computer hardware troubleshooting and maintenance procedures
- Experience managing enterprise tools like Active Directory, GPOs, SCCM, ServiceNow or Jira for ticketing and asset management
- Ability to analyze system logs using tools like BMC Remedy or similar platforms to diagnose issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to users of varying technical backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality support standards
