Job description

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing all company technology systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, software platforms, communications systems, and end-user support functions. This role requires a strategic and visionary leader capable of forecasting organizational technology needs, building high-performing teams, managing vendors and budgets, and promoting innovative solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and overall company performance., Leadership & Strategic Planning

  • Lead and mentor a team of highly motivated and skilled IT professionals
  • Forecast future technology needs and proactively prepare resources and systems
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish project priorities and strategic initiatives
  • Mentor company leaders and promote innovation through technology

Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Oversee all IT operations including hardware, software, networking, cloud services, and voice communications
  • Maintain accurate inventory of technology hardware, software, and resources
  • Ensure company servers and systems maintain maximum uptime and accessibility
  • Manage wireless accounts, mobile devices, and field technology systems
  • Research and recommend new technology systems and services

Cybersecurity & Security Systems

  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and best practices
  • Maintain site security systems including access control, camera, and burglary systems
  • Manage firewalls, endpoint protection, MFA, backups, and access controls
  • Ensure software licensing compliance and company data protection standards

Development & Digital Operations

  • Oversee application development and QA/QC processes
  • Maintain FileMaker databases and support internal business applications
  • Oversee media and digital experience initiatives
  • Support branding consistency and digital communication standards
  • Build reports and dashboards for leadership and ownership teams

Support & User Experience

  • Provide excellent support to end users across office and field operations
  • Ensure all employees and ownership teams receive responsive and effective IT service
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application issues
  • Support live educational events and customer demonstrations
  • Promote the use of technology to improve company efficiency and safety

Vendor & Budget Management

  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers
  • Develop and manage the IT budget
  • Coordinate system upgrades and infrastructure improvements

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship building?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration, networking, cybersecurity, cloud systems, and server management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong organizational, budgeting, and project management abilities

Preferred

  • Experience in construction, electrical contracting, or field-service industries
  • Experience with ERP systems, project management software, and operational technology platforms
  • Experience managing development teams or internal applications
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA Network+, or Security+
