Job description
We are seeking a candidate with a strong technical background in batch automation and managed file transfer, combining operational expertise with project management skills. The candidate will serve both as a technical specialist in workflow management and orchestration using Broadcom Automic Automation (UC4) and as a point of contact for internal project initiatives related to the evolution of automation and file transfer platforms. The candidate will be involved in the configuration and administration of MFT solutions, ensuring the security, traceability, and compliance of data flows, and will actively contribute to the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT projects in the MFT and batch processing fields. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with infrastructure, application, and security teams, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards (PCI DSS, FINMA).
Main Responsibilities
Technical Area - Automation and MFT Management and development of jobs, workflows, and scripts on the UC4 (Broadcom Automic) platform for process automation. Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of batch chains and operational flows. Configuration and integration between UC4 and MFT tools for end-to-end file transfer automation. Administration of MFT platforms (e.g., Axway, GoAnywhere, CFT, or equivalent), including management of secure protocols (SFTP, HTTPS). Management of cryptographic keys and implementation of encryption mechanisms (PGP, SSH, SSL/TLS). Performance analysis and reporting on transfer flows and batch processes.
Project Area - IT Project Management Management of batch automation and MFT project initiatives, from requirements gathering to production deployment. Coordination of technical and business stakeholders, suppliers, and external consultants. Planning activities, prioritizing, and monitoring project progress. Support in defining target architectures and evolutionary roadmaps for UC4 and MFT solutions. Management of project risks, dependencies, and operational criticalities. Production and maintenance of project and technical documentation.
Security and Compliance Application and maintenance of controls required by PCI DSS and FINMA guidelines. Implementation of security measures for data in transit and at rest, including PGP-based solutions and certificate management. Management of audit trails and support for internal and external audit activities. Access control, authentication, and protection of sensitive data in accordance with applicable regulations.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Technical Skills Experience with UC4/Broadcom Automic or other enterprise schedulers. Experience with MFT platforms and secure transfer protocols. Good knowledge of Linux and Windows environments. Scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell, BAT) and regular expressions. Solid knowledge of encryption and key management mechanisms (PGP, SSH, digital certificates). Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible) and monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace). Experience with collaboration and task management tools (Jira, Confluence).
Project Management Skills Experience managing IT projects, preferably in the infrastructure or systems integration fields. Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and suppliers. Knowledge of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) Ability to manage priorities, plan, and deliver.
