Junior Java Developer

Then this role might be for you., As a Junior Java Developer, you will work within our Tooling team and contribute to the development, improvement, and quality of the Novulo Application Development platform, which is based on Java and C#. You will work closely with more experienced engineers who guide and support your growth., * Supporting the development and improvement of the different tools that make up the Novulo Application Development platform

• Implementing, configuring, and integrating platform tools that are based on Java under guidance
• Writing clean, maintainable code by using modern workflows and AI
• Testing your work thoroughly to ensure quality, stability, and reliability
• Collaborating with colleagues from different teams to understand requirements and improve solutions

What we're looking for

Required

• A Bachelor's degree (WO/HBO) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1-2 years of programming experience (e.g. C# or Java) through work, internships, or projects
• Basic understanding of software development principles and version control
• Professional working proficiency in Dutch or/and English, both spoken and written
• Motivation to grow into a more experienced Platform Engineer

Nice to have

• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming
• Familiarity with low-code platforms or configurable software environments
• Exposure to testing practices, CI/CD, or integrations (APIs)
