VodafoneThree - Network Designer - 8 month Fixed Term Contract

The Network Designer will lead the design and delivery of network solutions, producing high-quality technical designs aligned to customer architecture, security and operational standards, and ensuring successful testing and phased rollout through effective stakeholder engagement and governance.

• Lead the end-to-end design of network solutions, ensuring alignment to customer architecture principles and business requirements.
• Produce and maintain high- and low-level design documentation (HLD/LLD), ensuring accuracy, traceability and compliance with security and operational standards.
• Ensure designs meet security, compliance and operational readiness requirements, supporting governance processes and design approvals.
• Support planning, testing and phased rollout of network solutions, ensuring designs are deliverable, validated and ready for operational handover.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and design governance, clearly communicating progress, risks and technical decisions to internal and external parties., We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and all offers of employment for this role are subject to background checks, including criminal (DBS) and financial checks to meet the regulators standards.

Do you have experience in LAN?, * Strong experience designing enterprise network solutions, ideally with Fortinet (FortiGate, SD-WAN, IPSec/ADVPN)- Essential

• Solid understanding of IP networking and secure design principles, including WAN/LAN, routing and segmentation- Essential
• Proven experience producing HLD/LLD documentation, with a focus on clarity, accuracy and alignment to standards- Essential
• Knowledge of security, compliance and operational readiness requirements, including testing, assurance and service handover- Essential
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to clearly articulate designs, risks and decisions across technical and non-technical audiences- Essential

The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain SC level security clearance
