We are looking for a Senior Software Tester to take ownership of testing strategy and elevate quality across complex mobile and device environments.This is more than a testing role. You will shape automation frameworks, influence technical decisions and mentor others, playing a key part in driving engineering excellence.We're looking for a detail-driven problem solver with a passion for quality and a strong technical foundation. The ideal candidate will enjoy working across hardware and software and thrive in collaborative environments.For this role you must be a sole UK national, eligible and willing to undergo Security Check clearance (SC Clearance).Key skills and experience:Strong Python skills for scripting and automationProven experience in mobile device testing and managing test environmentsBackground in automation strategy and or improving testing processesKnowledge of firmware lifecycle, including deployment, updates and versioningExperience with CI or CD pipelines, version control and automation toolsSolid understanding of iOS and Android platformsAnalytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex device interactionsExcellent communication skills and confidence to mentor and support othersWhat you will be doing:This is a hands-on senior role where you will lead by example and drive improvements across testing practices.Own and optimise mobile test environmentsShape and deliver firmware testing and rollout strategiesDesign and build Python based automation frameworksLead both manual and automated testing across mobile platformsCollaborate closely with engineering teams to plan releases and improve qualityAnalyse, report and communicate test results and insightsMentor junior testers and promote best practicesContinuously improve tools, processes and
