Job description
We are seeking a talented Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineer to join a growing technology team focused on building scalable, automated, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a modern cloud environment with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code, automation, and DevOps best practices.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform
- Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and infrastructure automation
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to improve cloud reliability, performance, and scalability
- Automate operational processes and cloud provisioning workflows
- Monitor cloud environments and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues
- Support hybrid or multi-cloud environments including AWS and/or Azure when needed
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to cloud best practices and standards
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines
- Strong scripting and automation experience
- Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and monitoring concepts
- Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and deployment issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with the Atmos framework
- Exposure to AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or containerized deployments
- Familiarity with GitOps and DevOps best practices
- Experience with cloud security and compliance initiatives
