Job description
Responsible for establishing and executing the organization's overall information technology strategy, governance, and innovation initiatives. Provides executive leadership for the planning, development, security, and effective use of information systems and technology resources across the organization to support business objectives, operational efficiency, and long-term growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Interacts effectively with the executive leadership, regulatory bodies, vendors and Team Members. Performs excellent customer service and maintains professional relationships at all times.

Serves as the senior technology executive responsible for the strategic direction, governance and overall performance of the organization's information technology environment.

Develops and executes the company's enterprise information technology strategy in alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and long-term business objectives.

Advises executive leadership on the use of technology to improve operational efficiency, security posture, customer experience, and competitive advantage.

Provides executive oversight of all information systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and technology-related initiatives across the organization.

Establishes enterprise technology standards, policies, and governance frameworks to ensure consistent and secure operation of information systems.

Oversees cybersecurity strategy, risk management, regulatory compliance, and protection of company and customer data.

Works closely with business leadership to identify opportunities for technology innovation and digital transformation.

Oversees the planning and prioritization of major technology initiatives, capital projects, and system implementations.

Reviews and approves enterprise technology architecture, infrastructure strategy, and long-term technology roadmap.

Establishes and manages the enterprise IT budget, including capital expenditures, operating expenses, and long-term technology investments.

Negotiates and manages strategic vendor relationships, service agreements, and technology partnerships.

Ensures the organization maintains appropriate disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response capabilities.

Provides executive oversight of system reliability, security, and availability to support uninterrupted business operations.

Ensures the organization remains compliant with applicable regulatory and industry standards related to information technology and data protection.

Provides leadership and direction to the IT Director and other technology leaders to ensure efficient operation of IT services.

Regularly reports to executive leadership regarding technology performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.

Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record.

Performs any reasonable request made by executive management., Directly supervises the IT Director and other designated technology leadership positions. Provides strategic direction and oversight to the Information Technology Department and related technology functions throughout the organization. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include providing leadership guidance to department management, approving organizational structure, overseeing performance management of technology leadership, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels within the Information Technology Department. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions., Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences or Business Administration from a four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience., Six to eight years experience in computer programming required, with progressive supervisory/managerial experience preferred. Must possess excellent communication skills. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, and public groups. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
