Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Support Technician to join our technology team! In this role, you will be the frontline hero for resolving technical issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless computer and network operations across our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting diverse IT systems and hardware., * Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.

  • Assist with computer management tasks, including setup, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Resolve software problems related to operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Manage computer networks by configuring and maintaining LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), firewall settings, TCP/IP protocols, and network security measures like Meraki devices.
  • Support IT infrastructure components including Windows Server environments, Active Directory, GPO (Group Policy Objects), SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), BMC Remedy ticketing system, ServiceNow, Jira, and network administration tools.
  • Assist with help desk operations by logging incidents in ServiceNow or Jira, tracking resolution progress, and communicating effectively with users.
  • Conduct analysis of recurring issues to identify root causes and implement preventative solutions to improve overall system stability.

Requirements

Do you have experience in macOS administration?, * Proven experience in providing IT support within a corporate or enterprise environment.

  • Strong knowledge of desktop support across multiple operating systems including Windows and macOS.
  • Hands-on experience with computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN/WAN setup, DNS configuration, VPNs, firewalls (including Meraki), and network security best practices.
  • Experience managing Active Directory accounts, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Microsoft Windows Server environments, and Linux systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with help desk ticketing tools like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy along with remote support tools such as SCCM or JAMF for Apple devices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Analysis skills to diagnose complex issues quickly and accurately while maintaining a customer service-oriented mindset.
