We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our technology team. In this role, you will be the frontline hero responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to our users, ensuring seamless operation of our IT infrastructure. Your expertise will help troubleshoot software and hardware issues, manage computer systems, and maintain network stability, empowering our organization to operate efficiently and securely. - Troubleshoot software issues related to Microsoft Office, enterprise applications, and custom business tools.
- Manage computer hardware setups, upgrades, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain and configure computer networks, including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), and firewall settings using tools like Meraki and Cisco firewalls.
- Administer Active Directory, GPO (Group Policy Objects), SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), and BMC Remedy for user management and system deployment.
- Support mobile devices and peripherals to ensure connectivity and functionality across the organization.
- Assist with server management tasks involving Windows Server environments, Linux servers, and network administration protocols such as TCP/IP and TCP.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Network administration?, * Proven experience in providing IT support within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of help desk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira for tracking issues and resolutions.
- Familiarity with network administration concepts including LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP protocols, DNS configuration, and VPN management.
- Experience managing computer hardware components and operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11), macOS, and Linux distributions.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues quickly and communicate solutions effectively to non-technical users.
- Prior work with enterprise tools like Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, GPOs, SCCM, BMC Remedy or similar ticketing systems preferred.
- Strong communication skills combined with a customer service mindset to deliver professional support at all times.
