We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems & Integrations Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide system architectures and integrations within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in service-oriented architecture, cloud infrastructure, enterprise software solutions, and regulated healthcare environments. - Design and implement scalable cloud architectures utilizing AWS, Azure, and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Lead the integration of enterprise systems through RESTful APIs, Web services, and microservices architectures to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Establish and enforce information security standards across all system designs, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to optimize cloud infrastructure, operating systems (Linux, Windows), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server), and application deployment processes within DevOps pipelines utilizing CI/CD practices.
- Provide technical leadership in enterprise architecture initiatives using frameworks like TOGAF; define architecture principles and standards for system development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Guide software development teams on best practices in system design, application development (JavaScript, Java, .NET, Python), and integration strategies aligned with Agile methodologies.
- Conduct analysis to evaluate existing systems' performance; recommend improvements for scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables related to complex system integrations while coordinating with stakeholders across multiple departments.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stakeholder relationship building?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect are preferred.
- Extensive experience designing enterprise software solutions with a focus on service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and complex business system integrations.
- Proven experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, pharmacy operations, or other regulated industries, including familiarity with HIPAA-compliant environments and healthcare technology ecosystems.
- Hands-on expertise in enterprise platform implementations, data migration projects, and API integrations across multiple business systems.
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture including AWS and Azure; experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure management.
- Deep understanding of system architecture principles including RESTful APIs, Web Services, DevOps practices (CI/CD), application deployment strategies, and automation workflows.
- Knowledge of information security standards, cybersecurity best practices, and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC II, and NIST for enterprise and healthcare environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks for service management and experience managing enterprise-scale IT initiatives using Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams, business leadership, and executive stakeholders.
