Job description

STATISTICAL PROGRAMMER: Develop healthcare related support software. Programming and analysis of health-care industry data, Development of medical data analysis streams including statistical analyses, UNIX shell scripting, troubleshooting, system administration. Will be responsible for running and developing sophisticated shell scripts, advanced statistical analyses, Database management. Environment: UNIX, Windows XP, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Statistical Analysis Software (SAS, SPSS, Excel), Languages - C, C++. Provide support for application development within a clinical trial environment. Work with statisticians, data managers, and other statistical programmers to deliver submission ready analysis data sets, study report tables, listings, and associate QC/QA, and documentation in oncology, Central Nervous System (CNS), medical devices and diagnostics. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree or equivalent in Biomedical Engineering, Science, Health or related field, or in the alternative a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, Science, Health or related field of study AND five (5) years of experience in the offered position or related experience.
