- Manage computer systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot software problems across operating systems such as Windows and macOS, ensuring minimal downtime
- Maintain and support computer networking components like LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), and firewalls to ensure secure connectivity
- Assist with hardware upgrades, repairs, and inventory management of computer hardware components
- Support IT infrastructure operations by utilizing tools like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and help desk ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution
- Collaborate with team members to implement security measures including firewall configurations and network access controls
- Provide user training on basic IT procedures and best practices to enhance overall digital literacy
Requirements
Do you have experience in Ticketing system technical support?, * Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles with a strong understanding of operating systems such as Windows and macOS
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts including LAN setup, VPNs, firewalls, and network troubleshooting
- Proficiency in managing computer hardware and software troubleshooting across various platforms
- Knowledge of IT support tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, or similar ticketing systems
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Nice-to-have skills include experience with Linux operating systems and familiarity with help desk operations
