We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT/Telecom Support Representative to join our technology team. In this role, you will be the frontline for resolving technical issues, supporting software and hardware systems, and ensuring seamless communication across our organization's IT infrastructure. - Troubleshoot software problems related to Microsoft Office applications, enterprise tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and SCCM.
- Manage computer hardware components such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals to ensure they operate efficiently.
- Assist with network administration tasks including configuring and maintaining LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), firewalls, and Meraki devices.
- Support IT infrastructure by managing Active Directory accounts, GPO (Group Policy Objects), Windows Server environments, Linux servers, and network security measures.
- Use help desk tools like BMC Remedy and ServiceNow to log incidents, track resolutions, and communicate effectively with users.
- Conduct analysis of system logs and network performance metrics to identify issues proactively and recommend improvements for network stability and security.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Desktop (troubleshooting support)?, * Proven experience in providing IT support with a strong understanding of computer management, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation.
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows (Windows Server), macOS, and Linux.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN configurations, VPNs, firewalls, and network security protocols like Active Directory.
- Hands-on experience with remote support tools such as SCCM, GPO management, ServiceNow or Jira ticketing systems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to analyze system issues quickly and implement effective solutions efficiently.
- Certification in relevant areas such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) is preferred but not required.
