Job description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Help Desk Support Specialist to provide IT support for a medical practice. This role involves supporting a wide range of Microsoft technologies, managing iOS devices for field providers, and ensuring reliable connectivity through AT&T cellular plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare IT, remote troubleshooting, and mobile device management (MDM/ADM)., * Provide support for end-users via phone, email, chat, and remote desktop tools.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Document and resolve support tickets efficiently.

Microsoft Ecosystem Support

  • Support and maintain the full Microsoft 365 suite:
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Access, Publisher, Visio
  • Administer and troubleshoot:
  • Microsoft Azure Active Directory
  • Microsoft Intune (for MDM/ADM)
  • Microsoft Defender
  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Windows Admin Center
  • Exchange Online
  • Power Automate & Power BI (basic support)
  • Remote Desktop Services (RDS)

Remote Collaboration Tools

  • Support virtual meetings and remote access using:
  • GoToMeeting, GoToConnect, GoToResolve

Mobile Device & Cellular Support

  • Configure and manage iOS devices (iPads/iPhones) for providers in the field.
  • Set up and maintain Apple Device Management (ADM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Coordinate with AT&T to manage cellular plans, eSIM activations, and data usage for field devices / ipads.

Third-Party Software Support

  • Provide support for Adobe products, including:
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader, Adobe Sign, Adobe Creative Cloud (as applicable)

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure all systems and practices comply with HIPAA and other healthcare IT regulations.
  • Maintain security protocols and assist with audits and documentation.

Requirements

Do you have experience in iOS?, * 2+ years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Experience with iOS device setup and MDM/ADM platforms.
  • Familiarity with AT&T cellular services and mobile data management.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
  • Understanding of healthcare IT systems and HIPAA compliance.
