This is subject to assisting personnel and students with information technology needs, supporting in-school device setup, maintenance and repair, performing general office, clerical and record-keeping tasks, and other related duties as instructed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES Performs computer and peripheral equipment installationsAssists personnel with all aspects of technology related items, including software, hardware equipment and materialsMonitors, assists and supports students and teachers through various technology related activitiesProvides and arranges technology to assigned staff.Assists in the diagnosis and repair of technology and defective electronic or mechanical components by performing appropriate troubleshooting stepsTravel to sites as directedKeeps accurate inventory of all School technologySupports and facilitates office and school eventsDevelops, streamlines, and improves systems and procedures within the department and across other departments within the school as neededCommunicates and troubleshoots with, preferred Other Qualifications: State and federal fingerprint clearance (LiveScan) to work with students (Ed. Code 44237). No prospective employee can report to work without this clearance being received and Human Resources notifying the immediate supervisor of this clearance. Proof of a clear TB Tine test or signed Certificate of Completion dated within the last 60 days (Ed. Code 49406) upon employment and thereafter updated every four yearsHold and maintain a valid California Driver's License; proof of automobile insurance; and full time use of a dependable automobile that is insured pursuant to California regulations.
