Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Analyst to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone starting their IT career who is eager to learn and provide hands-on technical support in a professional services environment. You will assist with maintaining systems, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the firm's day-to-day technology needs., * Provide first-line technical support to attorneys and staff for hardware and software issues

  • Set up and configure new user accounts, workstations, and mobile devices
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees (equipment and system access)
  • Troubleshoot basic network, printer, and connectivity issues
  • Support common business applications
  • Perform routine system updates, patches, and maintenance tasks
  • Help maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and support logs
  • Escalate more complex technical issues to senior IT staff or vendors
  • Follow firm policies related to data security and confidentiality

Requirements

Do you have experience in Productivity software support?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Associate's or Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent training/certification)

  • 0-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or related role (internships count)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting common hardware and software issues
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in an IT role
  • Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to Active Directory or user account management
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPN, IP basics)
  • Interest in cybersecurity or IT support in professional services
  • Entry-level certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+ or similar), * High school or equivalent (Preferred), * Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
