WMS Application Specialist

To support this, we are looking for a WMS Application Specialist to strengthen our Warehouse Management Systems landscape across Cluster North.

Your Role As WMS Application Specialist, you play a key role in supporting, improving and implementing Warehouse Management Systems within Yusen Logistics. You translate operational needs into smart system solutions and work closely with operations, IT teams and external partners to ensure stable and efficient WMS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical WMS solutions
• Configure and support Warehouse Management Systems
• Support implementations, migrations and system enhancements
• Troubleshoot WMS-related incidents and provide user support
• Build interfaces between WMS platforms, customers and partners
• Perform testing activities and support user acceptance testing
• Create reports and support data analysis
• Deliver training and knowledge sharing to business users and colleagues
• Contribute to continuous improvement and WMS innovation initiatives
• Participate in an on-call support rotation outside office hours

• Experience with implementing, configuring or supporting WMS solutions
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and logistics operations
• Knowledge of SQL, databases, EDI and interfaces
• Analytical, hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
• Team player with a passion for warehouse innovation and digitalisation
