Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will support the development and operation of Curaleaf International's data platform, enabling reliable analytics, reporting, and business insight across the organisation. This will include:

• Data Engineering & Infrastructure

Designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes while contributing to the ongoing development of our in-house data warehouse and infrastructure using Python, SQL, and Terraform.

• Analytics & Visualisation

Building and optimising PowerBI dashboards and reporting solutions that translate complex datasets into clear, actionable business insights.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

Working closely with international stakeholders to understand business challenges, gather requirements, and deliver data solutions aligned to operational needs.

• Data Quality & Support

Ensuring data integrity through validation, cleaning, and troubleshooting activities while supporting the full lifecycle of data projects from design through to deployment and ongoing improvement.

Do you have experience in Terraform?, You are curious, analytical, and motivated to grow your technical skillset within a collaborative environment. You enjoy learning new tools, solving problems with data, and communicating technical ideas clearly., * Python and SQL

• Understanding of data structures and data modelling principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated with excellent time management in a remote environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn new technologies quickly

Although not essential, it would be beneficial to have:

• Experience with PowerBI or similar BI tools
• Familiarity with Postgres, AWS, DBT, or Microsoft Business Central
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code concepts and Terraform
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Experience with version control workflows
• Interest or experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical cannabis industries
