Job description
- Monitor carers' daily logs, notes, medication records, and visit reports on the care management app to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, missed tasks, or non-compliance issues within carers' documentation and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Ensure carers are following CQC regulations, company policies, safeguarding procedures, and care standards at all times.
- Carry out regular audits of electronic care records, MAR charts, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
- Support management teams by preparing compliance reports, tracking trends, and highlighting areas requiring improvement or further training.
- Maintain accurate staff and service user records while ensuring confidentiality and GDPR compliance.
- Liaise with carers, coordinators, and senior staff to correct documentation issues and improve recording practices.
- Monitor call monitoring systems and electronic care planning systems to ensure carers complete tasks correctly and on time.
- Assist in investigations relating to complaints, incidents, missed calls, or safeguarding concerns by reviewing app data and care records.
- Provide guidance and support to carers on proper use of the care app and accurate documentation standards.
- Help maintain training and compliance trackers, ensuring mandatory training and documentation remain up to date.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Co-ordinator to join our care team. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring carers' documentation and activity on the care management app, ensuring accurate record-keeping, identifying errors or omissions, and supporting compliance with CQC standards and company policies. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a good understanding of the care sector, and a passion for maintaining high-quality care standards., * Previous experience within the health and social care sector is preferred.
- Good understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding, GDPR, and care compliance requirements.
- Experience using care management systems or electronic care planning apps.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies quickly.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience in auditing, compliance monitoring, or data coordination is desirable.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or Business Administration is advantageous but not essential with relevant experience.
