Job description
The purpose of this role is to design, build and test components within a Power Platform/Dataverse Solution that enable a trusted dataset and reporting outputs. The role will build and configure data structures, automate workflows for ingestion and validation, and support the delivery of reporting outputs through Power BI. The role will work iteratively through development phases, supporting stakeholder reviews and implementing improvements based on feedback up to live service readiness, * Build and configure the Dataverse data model for the canonical dataset, including reference data and relationships.
- Develop automation workflows to support ingestion, validation, exception handling and notifications.
- Implement data quality checks and support the production of exception logs and quality summaries.
- Support development of exemplar datasets for testing and demonstration purposes, structured to mirror the live data format to ease transition later.
- Work with the delivery team to ensure reporting outputs are reliable, repeatable, and aligned to agreed definitions.
- Support stakeholder testing cycles, defect triage, and iterative improvements.
- Produce concise technical documentation needed for handover (data model notes, workflow summaries, run instructions).
Requirements
Do you have experience in Quality management?, * Experience delivering Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Dataverse and workflow automation.
- Strong knowledge of Dataverse data modelling, automation workflows, and data quality controls.
- Experience designing automated data validation and exception handling processes.
- Experience structuring data for Power BI reporting and analytics.
- Ability to work within secure or regulated environments.
- Strong documentation and handover skills.
- Demonstrable experience in data modelling, analytics, or data quality management.
- Knowledge of government functional standards and PRINCE2/MSP/MoP methodologies is desirable.
