Job description

Lead technical studies on servers, storage, and network infrastructure to support the program's system architecture decisions for sustaining worldwide enterprise operations.

Oversee and manage a high-priority, multi-year, on-site technical task focused on consolidating enterprise server sites.

Analyze users' requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications.

Lead design and development activities by analyzing system requirements and advising alternative approaches, conducting feasibility studies, and providing technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and technology.

Guide users in requirement formulation and provide expertise in system development and implementation planning.

Develop technical documentation, including system architecture and design documentation, to ensure clear understanding and continuity of system development efforts.

Interact with Government stakeholders to address Systems Engineering technical considerations, resolve problems, and manage conflicts.

Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.

Communicate effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives to provide updates, report progress, and address any concerns or issues.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 9 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in support of large-scale enterprise operations.

Proficiency in analyzing user requirements, developing system specifications, and guiding system development and implementation.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Experience working with Government agencies or large organizations preferred.

Travel: Some travel may be required based on project needs.
