Job description
This role is responsible for managing and optimizing IT assets across their full lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, supporting compliance initiatives, and driving cost-effective asset utilization. The position partners closely with IT and business teams to improve visibility, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Manage IT assets across the full lifecycle including procurement, deployment, tracking, and retirement

Maintain accurate asset records across systems such as ITAM tools and CMDB, ensuring timely updates

Perform regular data audits, reconciliations, and inventory checks to ensure consistency and accuracy

Identify and resolve asset data discrepancies proactively across multiple systems

Track software licenses, usage, and entitlements to support compliance and optimize spend

Assist with audit readiness activities and ensure alignment with licensing requirements

Monitor warranties, maintenance agreements, and renewal timelines, partnering with vendors as needed

Support procurement processes by providing asset data for purchasing and contract alignment

Generate reporting on asset inventory, utilization, and cost trends to support budgeting and forecasting

Build and maintain dashboards to improve visibility for IT and business stakeholders

Execute and enhance asset management processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency
Requirements
Requirements * Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

At least 5 years of experience in IT asset management, IT operations, technical support, or a closely related function.

Working knowledge of asset lifecycle management principles for hardware and software environments.

Experience using asset management, service management, or ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow.

Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy in data maintenance, validation, and reconciliation.

Familiarity with software licensing concepts and compliance support activities.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a structured environment.
