Job description

  • Manage IT Infrastructure related projects such as Data Center moves / modernization, Server Consolidation/Upgrade, Network Segmentation, VOIP, SIP, Call Center as a Service (CCaaS), firewall upgrades, Asset inventory, and lifecycle replacements
  • Data Loss Prevention, Active Directory consolidation/upgrade, Identity & Access Management, and Access Control projects
  • Manage projects from business case to implementation.
  • Project Management includes budget management, resource allocation, kick-off meetings, project planning, project execution and control, communication, risk analysis, quality assurance, team and vendor management, and project implementation.
  • Perform actual vs. planned analysis at the project level and forecast the cost of the project.
  • Develop project plans/scope/schedule and track progress, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate and attend meetings with various technical and non-technical resources to capture project requirements, identify project milestones, communicate project timelines, track action items, and monitor project status.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.

Requirements

ComTec is looking for an IT Infrastructure project manager who has experience managing multiple IT Infrastructure projects., * Minimum of 15 years of experience managing IT projects using the waterfall methodology

  • 10 years of Experience managing IT Infrastructure projects
  • Must have experience managing projects using the waterfall methodology
  • Electric utility experience is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with internal resources and external vendors
  • Must have good experience identifying and managing risks
  • Expert understanding of the Project Management processes and methodologies
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
