Job description
General Accounting Associate is based in San Jose, CA and a key member of the Accounting Department, reporting to the Manager, Corporate Accounting. This hybrid role requires a professional who can balance core general accounting functions-including fixed asset management and month-end closing-with critical Treasury operations and vendor onboarding. The successful candidate will provide innovative solutions for process improvement, ensure strict compliance with internal controls, and drive automation across the Treasury/Vendor Onboarding and Fixed Asset workflows.

Lead the end-to-end vendor registration process, reviewing and verifying registration documents (W-8/W-9, banking certifications, business licenses, etc.) to ensure tax and legal compliance.

Maintain the Master Vendor File in the ERP system, ensuring the accuracy of payment terms, banking details, and contact information.

Perform daily cash positioning, monitor bank balances, and prepare payment proposals to ensure timely disbursements.

Continuously apply process improvement methodology and mindset to execute meaningful and measurable improvement to the various existing processes in overall accounting operations

Collaborate with the key stakeholders to understand the complexity of current fixed asset management process, system and policy

Assist to maintain the fixed asset register, verify asset existence through physical counts, and reconcile discrepancies.

Provide necessary documentation and support for various internal and external audits.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spreadsheets?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in accounting (large public company experiences desirable)

Strong working knowledge of key business processes (order to collect, procure to pay, fixed assets, financial close, etc.)

Experiences and knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS and Sarbanes-Oxley Act

Strong project management/organizational and planning skills; ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines

Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and presentation skills

Korean language skill is a plus but not required * A results-oriented team-player with a self-motivated, proactive, and positive can-do attitude

Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system is a plus

Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling, etc.)
