Job description
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network switching, routing, and wireless equipment
- Monitor and support WAN connectivity across the organization
- Perform analog, digital, and protocol testing of communication channels
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and infrastructure issues
- Maintain network documentation, configurations, and communication linkage records
- Provide first-level support for Cisco VOIP and analog phone systems
- Install and maintain network cabling infrastructure
- Support end users by identifying needs and resolving technical issues
- Work with vendors, consultants, and internal teams to maintain network operations
- Maintain current knowledge of emerging networking technologies and recommend improvements
- Prepare clear technical documentation and reports

- 2+ years of experience supporting LAN/WAN environments
- Experience with network installation and repair
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, cabling, and physical layer troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP communication
- Experience with VLAN technology
- Experience managing LAN switches and routers through telnet and web interfaces
- Knowledge of router protocols and configurations
- Basic Cisco IOS command line experience
- Basic Nexus OS command line experience
- Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling
- Experience with HP Network Switches
- Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues
