Job description

We are Vista global Solutions (VGS), a health solutions consulting and contracting firm supporting several federal agencies across the nation. VGS is seeking an IT Management Analyst to support our ongoing mission in Falls Church, VA. This is primarily a remote position with occasional on-site requirements. For example, onsite visits, meetings, or required tasks at DHHQ in Falls Church.

What You'll Do: Services performed include, but are not limited to: Applying management analysis processes, statistical methods, and advanced technical and analytical research techniques to determine solutions based on client requirements with an IT services/solutions-based scope; analyzing operational activities to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision making and resource allocation; analyzing and reporting on compliance objectives and status using a variety of methods including dashboards; employing process improvement methodologies and principles for modernization of projects; creating project plans to achieve performance-based objectives, enhancing implementation, systems and service; assist in the preparation of presentations and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding operations, and personnel changes using various databases and programs; assist in the development of reports and presentations using Microsoft products, to include Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Project, etc; Compose, prepare, edit and proofread letters, reports and other correspondence; administer client- specific programs, projects, and/or processes; serve as liaison regarding administrative issues related to administration, facilities, and operations; coordinate meetings and appointments between program manager, client, and external-parties; resolve questions and problems and refers the most complex issues to higher levels. Senior staff manage, plan, and conduct major phases of significant projects.

  • Provide direct support to BUMED N61 Leadership on system status, requests/recommendations, and development of key deliverables
  • Work collaboratively with Program Managers, Functional Managers, and Information System Security Managers to ensure compliance of systems within the BUMED Portfolio
  • Oversee and manage the Defense Business System (DBS) Certification process of Navy readiness systems across the FYDP. Prepare OEP briefing templates, holding trainings and reoccurring meetings with PMs/FMs, as appropriate to assist in completion of required documentation for submission
  • Support the Department of Navy (DON) to validate all Navy Information Procurement Requests (ITPRs) leveraging Navy Information Technology Approval System (NAV-ITAS). Conducting ITPR reviews and approvals as internal reviewer to CSR and Leadership
  • Manage and maintain records and registration efforts for Navy Medicine systems and applications in associated repositories
  • Develop Briefings, Compendiums, and Meeting logistics for BUMED N6 Interim Program Review Meetings, Weekly Stakeholder, and Weekly Collaboration Meetings updating tracker and providing status on activities
  • Act as Lead Facilitator for BUMED N6 Interim Program Review Meetings and Bi-Weekly Stakeholder Meetings
  • Maintain responsibility for tracking, and review of IM/IT related requests, ensuring appropriate assignment and fielding requests for N61 and Navy Medicine equities.
