AWS Cloud Architect

The Opportunity: We are seeking a Cloud Architect to support our client's enterprise cloud transformation initiatives focused on modernizing and migrating applications into standardized AWS cloud environments. This role will drive cloud architecture, automation, and platform engineering efforts that improve developer experience, operational efficiency, and cloud governance across enterprise platforms., * Design and implement scalable AWS cloud architectures supporting enterprise modernization initiatives

• Lead migration efforts moving applications into standardized AWS cloud environments and landing zones
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and related automation tools
• Partner with platform engineering, infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver secure and scalable cloud services
• Drive improvements in cloud automation, operational efficiency, and developer experience
• Support enterprise cloud governance, standardization, and best practices initiatives
• Design and optimize cloud networking, identity, security, and monitoring architectures
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support modernization and cloud-native adoption efforts
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and platform issues
• Contribute to operational documentation, architecture standards, and implementation frameworks

The ideal candidate has deep experience with AWS architecture, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud platform engineering, along with the ability to partner across infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and automated cloud solutions., * 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud architecture, or platform engineering roles

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture patterns
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise cloud landing zones and migration initiatives
• Strong expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
• Experience with cloud automation, CI/CD, and platform engineering concepts
• Strong understanding of:

• Cloud networking
• Identity and access management
• Security and governance controls
• Monitoring and operational best practices

• Experience collaborating across infrastructure, engineering, and security organizations
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, * Experience supporting enterprise cloud transformation or M&A integration initiatives
• Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, etc.)
• Exposure to scripting or automation using Python or similar languages
• AWS certifications such as:

• AWS Solutions Architect
• AWS Advanced Networking
• AWS
