As a Senior Software Engineer within PNC's Retail Tech organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL, or Strongsville, OH.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and mappings for enterprise data integration
- Build and support data pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter and Power Exchange
- Extract and process data from multiple areas (Oracle, Hadoop, SQL Server, flat files, etc.)
- Implement complex data transformations and business rules
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning
- Work with relational databases such as Oracle, Mongo DB, SQL Server, or Teradata
- Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot issues, and provide support
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Create and maintain technical documentation (mappings, workflows)
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and application teams to clarify data requirements.
- Willingness to work off hours for releases and offshore collaboration., * Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
- Writes code, tests and deploys software.
- Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
- Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Teradata?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience in ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter and Power Exchange
- Strong experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise-scale data pipelines
- Proven ability to work with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and NoSQL platforms like MongoDB
- Solid understanding of data integration from other sources like mainframe.
- Advanced SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning
- Experience implementing complex data transformations, business rules, and data quality checks
- Knowledge of ETL job monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support processes
- Strong background in technical documentation, including ETL mappings, workflows, and design specifications
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, QA, and application teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience ensuring data quality, accuracy, and completeness across enterprise data systems
- ServiceNow Experience as well as experience with presenting changes in CAB.
