Job description

We are seeking the Associate Director of Change Management & Communication in the Patient Support Services (PSS) Enterprise Delivery Office (EDO). This person will be responsible for executing communication strategies and implementing change management initiatives that ensure all stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned. This hands-on role focuses on tactical delivery of communication plans, direct stakeholder engagement, and operational execution of change initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Operations and Change Management, you will play a critical role in bringing change management strategies to life and driving day-to-day execution excellence., Communication Plan Implementation and Execution

  • Execute comprehensive change management plans that support the implementation of change initiatives within the PSS function, ensuring timely and effective delivery of all communication touchpoints.

  • Manage day-to-day communication activities, including drafting content, coordinating distribution channels, and ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.

  • Ensure that all stakeholders, including employees, leadership, and external partners, receive timely and relevant information throughout the change process.

Stakeholder Engagement and Messaging Delivery

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders during change initiatives, facilitating meetings, workshops, and feedback sessions to ensure engagement and alignment.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop clear, consistent messaging and communication materials (presentations, emails, FAQs, talking points, etc.) that support organizational objectives.

  • Coordinate with senior leadership, HR, and cross-functional teams to ensure messaging is delivered effectively and reflects the company's values.

Impact Tracking and Feedback Management

  • Monitor and track the effectiveness of communication efforts through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and engagement metrics.

  • Collect and analyze stakeholder feedback to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to the Director, Operations and Change Management.

  • Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into communication reach and stakeholder engagement levels.

Metrics Management and Reporting

  • Implement and maintain metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of change management and communication efforts.

  • Prepare regular status reports, presentations, and updates for leadership on communication activities, stakeholder engagement, and initiative progress.

  • Support the development of insights and recommendations based on data analysis to continuously improve execution effectiveness.

Operational Execution and Project Coordination

  • Manage the tactical execution of multiple change management initiatives simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.

  • Coordinate logistics for change management activities, including training sessions, town halls, roadshows, and other engagement events.

  • Partner with project teams to ensure change management and communication activities are integrated into project plans and timelines.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator and hands-on change management practitioner with 5-7 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare experience, preferably in Patient Support Services. They excel at translating complex organizational changes into clear, compelling stakeholder messaging while managing multiple competing priorities in fast-paced environments. This individual combines strong project management capabilities with exceptional communication skills, using data-driven insights to track communication effectiveness and drive adoption. They bring working knowledge of change management methodologies and proficiency with modern collaboration platforms. The ideal candidate is both a relationship builder and execution expert - someone who can facilitate stakeholder conversations, coordinate complex logistics, and deliver high-quality materials that resonate across all organizational levels., + BA/BS degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management, communications, or organizational development. Experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is preferred

Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in executing communication plans and implementing change management initiatives

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and execution excellence.

  • Hands-on experience implementing communication strategies for organizational change initiatives, with a focus on tactical delivery and stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong project management and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to create clear, compelling content for diverse audiences.

  • Experience using data and metrics to track communication effectiveness and inform decision-making

  • Working knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices (Prosci or similar certification a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MA in Communications, or related field) preferred.

  • Experience working in a patient support services or related pharmaceutical environment.

  • Proficiency with communication and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams, email platforms, survey tools, etc.).

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 10% travel required to various team meetings and conferences.
