This is a full-time on-site role in Sidney, Ohio for a Pattern Maintenance Repair Technician. You will work as a team to repair, maintain and perform engineering updates to current tooling. The team is also responsible for preparing new tooling for use in production. You will be trained in woodworking, metal, and plastic, for use in forming molds for castings. You will also be trained in running lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, table saw, band saw, and other manual/CNC machines and equipment., * Develop and modify patterns using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Prepare patterns for manufacturing using CNC programming, CAM programming, and CNC lathe/milling machine operations.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges to inspect patterns for dimensional accuracy.
- Fabricate patterns through various methods such as fabrication, welding, or machining on CNC equipment like EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), stamping presses, or other tools.
- Interpret technical schematics and schematics diagrams to ensure proper pattern assembly and fabrication processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review designs, perform GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and troubleshoot pattern issues.
- Maintain detailed records of pattern modifications, inspections, and manufacturing processes to ensure traceability and quality control.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating CNC machines such as CNC lathe, CNC milling machines, or EDM equipment.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software including AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes involving plastics injection molding, stamping presses, and fabrication techniques.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles for precise measurement and quality assurance.
- Experience with hand tools, precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers), schematics interpretation, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately while applying math skills for measurements and calculations.
