Job description
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead and support a major enterprise modernization initiative focused on building a Salesforce-native operational ecosystem. This role will serve as a strategic technical advisor, partnering closely with business leaders, IT, Operations, Finance, Quality, commercial teams, and implementation partners to design scalable, maintainable, and integrated Salesforce solutions.
This is not a traditional CRM-only Salesforce role. The ideal candidate will help shape enterprise workflows supporting biorepository operations, sample lifecycle management, billing data exchange, client-facing capabilities, and integrations with enterprise systems such as SAP, reporting platforms, and LIMS applications., * Serve as the primary Salesforce architecture advisor during implementation and early platform adoption initiatives
- Design scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions supporting operational workflows, enterprise integrations, and long-term platform governance
- Partner with system integrators and implementation teams to review architecture, configuration patterns, integrations, data models, and release strategies
- Guide Salesforce ecosystem architecture decisions related to scalability, usability, audit readiness, maintainability, and operational efficiency
- Design and support enterprise integrations between Salesforce and systems such as SAP, LIMS, finance systems, BI/reporting platforms, portals, and enterprise applications
- Develop and support integration strategies using REST APIs, platform events, middleware, Pub/Sub models, and event-driven architectures
- Lead data migration, data mapping, validation, reconciliation, cleansing, and master-data strategy initiatives
- Establish governance standards for Salesforce environments including release management, security models, permission structures, documentation standards, and DevOps practices
- Evaluate vendor-built Salesforce managed packages and assess technical impacts and integration considerations
- Translate complex technical architecture concepts into clear recommendations for business, operations, executive leadership, and IT teams
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to align implementation goals with long-term enterprise modernization strategies
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and design considerations impacting performance, supportability, validation, and user adoption
- Support future platform enhancements and roadmap initiatives following initial implementation
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems integration?, The ideal candidate will bring strong Salesforce architecture expertise, systems thinking, enterprise integration experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders., * Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect, Salesforce Technical Architect, or Senior Salesforce Technical Lead in enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture including data models, automation, integrations, security, release management, and governance
- Strong experience designing Salesforce integrations using REST APIs, Bulk APIs, web services, middleware, platform events, and event-driven integration patterns
- Experience with Salesforce managed packages and Salesforce-native enterprise applications
- Experience leading data migration, data-quality management, validation, reconciliation, and business data governance initiatives
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Flow, Apex concepts, metadata management, permission models, and DevOps best practices
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation programs involving multiple systems, business process changes, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to balance technical architecture and business objectives, * Experience in life sciences, healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory operations, biorepository, clinical research, or regulated operational environments
- Familiarity with LIMS, sample management systems, laboratory workflows, or chain-of-custody operational processes
- Knowledge of GxP, HIPAA, GDPR, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, electronic records, audit trails, or validation requirements
- Experience integrating Salesforce with SAP, ERP systems, LIMS, ELN, QMS, BI/reporting platforms, portals, or enterprise data lakes
- Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud and customer-facing portal solutions
- Salesforce certifications such as:
- Salesforce Application Architect
- System Architect
- Integration Architect
- Data Architect
- Familiarity with AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities including Agentforce and workflow automation tools
