Job description
Can't wait to make an impact on the world? You're not alone. Join us in driving progress in the working world and beyond. In M&A Transaction Diligence, we help our clients navigate the complexity of M&A transactions by providing specialised advice, both in connection with the acquisition or divestment of companies. Our work includes, among others, financial analysis of historical trading and balance sheets and assessing consistency in forecasts compared to historical trends, order books and other known factors, to get the best possible basis for valuing a business. Our work supports our clients with relevant knowledge to make a valuation of a business and to understand operational and financial assets and liabilities as well as other risks to be considered in the transaction context. We serve both domestic and international private equity firms and strategic corporates, advising them on high-stakes acquisitions and divestitures. Your journey with us Data is no longer a byproduct of a transaction - it is the heartbeat. Our Transaction Diligence Data Analytics team bridges enterprise data and the strategic "single source of truth" that defines deal valuation. As an M&A Data Analytics (Senior) Manager, you will actively shape and build the team, driving the development of our data analytics capabilities and playing a key role in strategic decision-making within the practice. Join a fast-growing area of M&A where data drives insights and decisions on both buy- and sell-side transactions. You will lead and collaborate with due diligence teams to validate the "equity story" of target companies. Data analytics in M&A goes beyond processing numbers; it is about creating a "single source of truth" that underpins or validates the equity story in close collaboration with the broader deal team. You will transform complex data engineering and analytics tasks into clear, compelling narratives that provide strategic insights directly impacting deals. As a (Senior) Manager, you will take ownership of project delivery, steering teams to success while continuously enhancing our service offering. You will mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality output. Your role will also involve contributing to business development and shaping the future direction of the practice.
