Job description

  • You'll be part of the client's Cloud Engineering unit. In this unit, they are responsible for streaming the development experience of product teams by delivering reliable, self-service, platforms covers observability, identity, continuous integration and delivery, release management and cloud capabilities.
  • You will be embedded within the Cloud DevOps team and will contribute to the evolution of the Software Factory & Cloud platforms.

Your role

  • Researching, designing, building and operating reliable Dev & DevOps oriented platforms based on AWS, Azure, GitHub, Jfrog, etc.
  • Aligning with developers, infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity and risk managers to apply standards and to provide guidance
  • Contributing to the promotion of good practices in terms of DevSecOps on our platforms
  • Performing tasks expected of a platform engineer: development, infrastructure as code with Terraform, Puppet or Ansible, CI/CD, etc.
  • Languages used will include Python and Go as well as Bash and Powershell scripting.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Terraform?, * You have experience in an engineering role (eg, software engineer, devops, etc.).

  • Strong hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), including landing zones and infrastructure design.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Experience with cloud databases such as Cloud SQL and DynamoDB.
  • Ability to design and implement scalable architecture.
  • Experience in managing self-service SaaS applications and automation (including scripting and process automation).
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Solid background in Platform Engineering, including infrastructure development and coding.
  • Programming experience with tools and languages such as Visual Studio, Python, Java, and Node.js.
  • Experience in API programming, including AWS Lambda functions.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including user stories, backlog management, and collaboration tools such as Confluence.
  • Strong collaboration skills, working closely with management, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS - Elastic Kubernetes Service); Kubernetes expertise is mandatory.
  • Experience in building and managing serverless architectures, including Lambda API functions and IAM management.
  • Strong experience in managing infrastructure and cloud-based containerized environments (APIs + deployments).
  • Ability to deploy production releases based on defined architecture and best practices.
  • Proficiency in software craftsmanship practices, programming and API design (Python, Java, Go, Bash or equivalent).
  • Experience with cloud systems such as Azure or Amazon and infrastructure-as-code configuration.
  • Knowledge about architecture topics such as integration, security, network, identity and access management.
  • As a plus, you have expertise in DevSecOps, Data Science Agentic AI or FinOps practices.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deeply curious and eager to learn technologies and skills.
