Data Engineer - Real-Time Streaming (Python - Elasticsearch) | Baarn | Fulltime | 1-5 jaar ervaring

At Ivent Mobile, you'll work in a small, highly skilled team (20 people) building systems that process massive volumes of network telemetry from telecom and satellite infrastructures worldwide.

As a Data Engineer, you will design and build real-time data pipelines and streaming platforms that directly support mission-critical communication systems used across the globe.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership, real impact, and real technical challenges.

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable data pipelines (real-time & batch)
• Work with streaming data (Kafka) and event-driven architectures
• Process high-volume network telemetry and monitoring data
• Integrate data via APIs from internal and external systems
• Improve performance, reliability, and observability
• Troubleshoot complex production issues
• Contribute to data architecture and platform design
• Support and coach junior engineers

Do you have experience in Spark?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in software development or similar

• 1+ years of experience in data engineering and backend development
• Strong skills in Python, Apache Kafka is a plus
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash (ELK)
• Solid knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and APIs
• Experience with production systems and troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Comfortable working in English (Dutch is a plus)

Nice to have (or willing to learn): Linux, Ansible, Apache Spark, Ruby on Rails
