Whether it's a triathlon, cycling race, or a multi-sport event, as a Java Software Developer you are building our advanced timing solutions which ensures every athlete's performance is accurately captured. From chip timing to live results and capturing the closest of finishes with a high level of accuracy our professional event timing software shows sporters most accurate timing results.
What You'll Do Our Software Development team works on both motorized (Speedhive) as Active Sports (Sporthive) Apps. You will be responsible for the backend part that services these apps for our Active Sports applications.
In this multidisciplinary team you will find colleagues with specializations in IOS, Android and Web development, as well as a QA Engineer working closely together with our Product Owner. As a team we are continuously working on the maintenance of the apps, but also working on new feature implementations and development.
Since we like to understand what our software means to sporters, this position offers the chance to visit small and large scale sporting events to fully understand the accuracy and meaning of our software.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Web development?, 4+ Years of Software Development experience with Java and preferably Springboot. Front-end Development experience in Vue.js is seen as a plus. Strong (technical) communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus). Passion for technology and sport. Cloud experience, preferably Azure, is a bonus.
