Responsible for the full lifecycle management of LAN infrastructure, including provisioning, maintenance, operations, troubleshooting, and decommissioning. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining campus LAN environments, monitoring and troubleshooting network performance and connectivity issues, and supporting all lifecycle activities from initial deployment through decommissioning. The Principal Technician will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and security and will be required to travel to remote sites in the Netherlands and Germany as needed. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain campus LAN environments Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues Support lifecycle activities from initial deployment through decommissioning Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and security Travel to remote sites in the Netherlands and Germany as required

Requirements

Strong expertise in campus routing and switching technologies Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-Access, including IS-IS and LISP Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNA Center) Solid understanding of network security fundamentals, including: 802.1X authentication, AAA services, RADIUS and TACACS+ protocols Proficiency with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Minimum certification: valid Cisco CCNA Preferred: CCNP (Enterprise, Service Provider, or Security) or CCIE
