Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a GCSE?, The Technician will be responsible for providing 1st / 2nd Line remote and must be highly motivated to head to customers sites either for project work or when required. Providing IT, AI, Telecoms & Cyber Security support to clients, utilising their technical support experience. This position is based in our Gloucestershire office with a hybrid option to work from home 1 day per week and with a mix of client site visits. You will need to hold a full UK driving license and be happy to drive to Customer Sites and use the Rail Service where appropriate.
For this role, you must share our passion for looking after customers. Hence, you must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), be very well presented, and be customer service focused.
Skills & Knowledge Required
- IT support + customer service experience (2 years minimum)
- Use of an IT Support Desk ticketing system
- Technically IT competent and strong ability to learn new products
- Knowledge of basic networking principles
- Microsoft 365 and EntraID Experience
- High-level user of Microsoft Windows and Office applications
- Basic level of supporting Apple Products
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Good time management and excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and client interaction skills
- Full UK driving license - must be happy to drive to customer sites
- GCSE or equivalent qualifications
- Must pass DBS and similar checks
Skills & Knowledge Preferable
- Telecoms support experience
- Microsoft Azure Experience
- Cyber security experience
- Competence with basic IT tools (e.g. screwdriver)
- CompTIA A+ qualified, * IT support: 2 years (preferred)
