Job description
To support the IT team in providing a comprehensive IT service for The HEX Group to enable it to meet its corporate objectives and business targets. As Group IT Support Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining the company's IT network, servers, client devices and security systems, including investigating, diagnosing and resolving network, server, client devices and software problems, software patching, collecting IT usage stats, making recommendations for improving the company's IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions., Installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems ️ Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components ️ Installing, configuring and maintaining Servers ️ Ensuring the security of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software Supporting users whenever they encounter challenges with computers and network devices Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly Testing new hardware and software before full-scale installation
- ️ High level of Microsoft 365 experience and administration
Backup Management, configuration and monitoring To undertake project work as assigned by the Group IT Manager Liaise with 3rd party support

Requirements
Do you have experience in IT?, Exceptional communication skills Attention to detail Ability to work alone and as part of a team A hands-on IT generalist with the ability to learn ️ Experience in Active Directory and Server configuration Experience in Network configuration
- ️ Experience in Microsoft 365 administration
Personal qualities:
Professional manner Friendly and polite manner Excellent work attitude
Desired qualifications: Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Systems Administration or similar is desired but not essential
