The Role - Design Engineer / CAD Design Engineer As a Design Engineer based in Hinckley, you will play a key role in the design and development of bespoke mechanical engineering systems and custom-built solutions. Requirements
The company is keen to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Design Engineer who is eager to learn and develop within a supportive engineering environment., Graduate Design Engineer with industry experience Manufacturing Engineer with CAD experience Ideal Candidate Profile Previous experience within a manufacturing or mechanical engineering environment Experience producing 2D and 3D CAD drawings Knowledge of CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, or similar packages Good communication skills and the ability to work with customers, suppliers, and internal teams Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and progress professionally Practical engineering mindset with strong attention to detail Qualifications Any of the following qualifications would be advantageous: BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering discipline HNC or HND in Engineering Apprentice-trained engineering background Equivalent engineering qualifications or industry experience Candidates who have progressed from a hands-on manufacturing or production engineering background into design engineering are also encouraged to apply.
