Are you an ambitious tester or automation engineer at the start of your career, looking for a role that will genuinely accelerate your growth? Loupe Testware is building something special, and we want you to be part of it from the beginning.
We're in the middle of a significant engineering build-out, hiring a team of around 15 engineers over the next 6 to 12 months. That means a real opportunity to grow into a senior engineer within a team that's still taking shape. You'll be helping build a squad.
The Opportunity
We partner with clients to transform how they approach software quality. Our current engagement is with a prestigious private banking client, and we're building a world-class testing function from the ground up.
As a Junior SDET, you'll be surrounded by experienced engineers who are invested in helping you grow. You'll learn by doing, writing real automation, contributing to real projects, and developing skills that will take you far beyond where you are today.
As the team expands into squads, you'll play a key role within yours, with a clear path to mid and senior level as your confidence and capability grow.
What You'll Be Working With
- Playwright and Selenium, the core automation tools you'll use every day
- C# and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform
- API testing exposure as you grow into the role
What You'll Be Doing
- Contributing to automated test coverage across real enterprise delivery programmes
- Writing and maintaining test scripts, and learning how to do it really well
- Supporting regression and functional testing as part of an Agile team
- Designing tests from user stories and acceptance criteria
- Raising risks, defects and blockers clearly and confidently
- Participating in sprint ceremonies and contributing ideas, * Join at the start of a major team build, a rare chance to grow as the function grows
- Clear progression pathway to SDET (Mid) and Senior SDET

Requirements
Do you have experience in Unit testing?, We're not hiring for where you are right now. We're hiring for where you're going. If you have:
- Some exposure to automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, or similar)
- A solid understanding of software testing fundamentals
- Awareness of Agile delivery environments
- A genuine curiosity to solve complex problems and push yourself
- A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
