About the company
Loupe Testware is building a quality engineering team from the ground up. Around 15 hires, structured into squads, over the next 6 to 12 months. Senior SDETs won't just contribute to that. They'll lead it.
The Opportunity
We're working with a major private banking institution on a significant engineering transformation programme. The quality engineering function is being built to a high standard: modern automation frameworks, clean and maintainable codebases, clear engineering standards, and a genuine focus on delivery confidence.
As a Senior SDET, you'll define what good looks like. You'll set the automation standards the team builds against, design the frameworks others rely on, and write code that's as much a benchmark as it is a solution. You'll also be expected to bring people with you. Mentoring mid and junior engineers isn't a nice-to-have here. It's central to the role.
You'll collaborate directly with leadership and client stakeholders, influence how quality is embedded across delivery, and help shape the culture of a team that's still being formed.
This is a rare opportunity to join at the moment of building. The decisions you make here will shape the team, the practices and the culture for years to come. As the function grows, senior engineers who prove themselves will have a clear path into lead and principal-level roles.
