IT Support EngineerLocation: Thame, OxfordshireSalary: £28,000 - £35,000Set-up: Hybrid Working, Occasional Client Site Visits Required The OpportunityWe're working with a growing and customer-focused IT provider looking to add an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to their technical team based in Thame. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong 1st/2nd Line experience who enjoys a varied role combining remote support, onsite client interaction, and project exposure. You'll be joining a collaborative environment where customer service and technical delivery are equally valued, supporting a broad client base across Microsoft environments and modern cloud technologies. ResponsibilitiesProviding 1st and 2nd Line technical support to a range of users and clientsTroubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issuesSupporting Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePointManaging users through Active Directory and Azure/Entra IDAssisting with laptop/desktop builds, installations, and deploymentsEscalating complex issues where required while maintaining ownership throughoutSupporting basic networking issues including switches, routers, and Wi-Fi connectivityParticipating in occasional client site visits for support and project workMaintaining accurate ticket updates and documentation within the service desk systemDelivering excellent customer service and communication at all levels Skills & Experience RequiredPrevious experience within a 1st/2nd Line Support or IT Support Engineer positionStrong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments

Requirements

Experience supporting:Microsoft 365Active DirectoryAzure/Entra IDWindows 10/11Basic networkingExperience working within an MSP or fast-paced support environment is highly desirableStrong communication and customer-facing skillsFull UK driving licence preferred due to occasional site visits
