Job description
- Develop reports, dashboards, metrics, data models, data marts, cubes, and automated BI tools.
- Extract, analyze, and interpret complex healthcare and business data using programming and reporting tools.
- Provide actionable insights and user-friendly reporting solutions to executives, physicians, clinical staff, and leadership teams.
- Collaborate with Population Health, HFPN leaders, and cross-functional teams to design data-driven solutions.
- Analyze Revenue Cycle data including charges, payments, billing, claims, adjustments, and bad debt.
- Support Value Based Care initiatives through analytics, utilization management, case management, and PMPM reporting.
- Create ad-hoc reports and automate recurring reporting processes to support strategic and operational goals.
- Work with internal and external data sources such as MiHIN, Payor Interfaces, Azara, and enterprise systems.
- Develop reporting solutions aligned with annual organizational playbook initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, timeliness, and compliance in all reporting deliverables.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Manage multiple projects independently while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Document workflows, reporting logic, and process flows for analytics solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between Analytics teams and business leaders to improve data-driven decision making.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Version control systems?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 3-4 years of experience in Healthcare or Business Intelligence environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, report development, and analytics tool creation.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of relational databases, data models, curated datasets, and data cubes.
- Experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, McKesson, or other healthcare platforms.
- Familiarity with EMR report development and healthcare data workflows.
- Experience managing code repositories using SCM tools, including branching, merging, pushing, pulling, staging, and code commenting.
- Knowledge of MS TFS or similar version control systems.
- Ability to understanding of core computer programming concepts and data processing methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning concepts.
- Ability to understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse architecture.
- Experience with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, Qlik, Looker, SSRS, Toad, or Minitab.
- Ability to develop multidimensional semantic layers and analytics query objects for business users.
- Strong customer service and active listening skills.
- Ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions with Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) principles in mind.
- Bachelor's Degree with a Healthcare, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, Business, or an Applied Science major, * EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, McKesson,: 1 year (Required)
