Job description

We are seeking a driven and analytical Data Scientist with approximately 2 years of professional experience to join our mission-critical team. In this role, you will leverage advanced data analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to solve complex problems and deliver actionable insights in support of national security objectives. Because this position directly supports the Intelligence Community (IC), an active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph is strictly required., * Model Development: Design, build, and deploy predictive models, statistical algorithms, and machine learning solutions using structured and unstructured datasets.

  • Data Pipeline Engineering: Clean, aggregate, and preprocess data from disparate, complex sources to ensure data integrity and readiness for analysis.
  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Perform deep-dive statistical analysis to uncover hidden patterns, anomalies, and trends relevant to strategic operations.
  • Collaboration & Translation: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate mission requirements into technical data science solutions.
  • Visualization & Reporting: Create intuitive dashboards and data visualizations to communicate sophisticated technical findings clearly to non-technical leadership and decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Must possess an active, verifiable TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope (FS) Polygraph. Applicants without this active clearance level will not be considered., * Experience: Approximately 2+ years of professional experience working in data science, advanced analytics, or a closely related quantitative field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related technical discipline.

Technical Proficiency

  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Python or R (including libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, or PyTorch/TensorFlow).
  • Databases: Experience writing complex queries using SQL to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
  • Big Data / Cloud: Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) or big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark) is a significant plus.
  • Version Control: Basic understanding of Git/GitHub for collaborative code management., * Prior experience working within the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) or graph analytics.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
