Job description

Supports Work Week Scheduler (WWS) with integration of the Rolling Work Week Schedule process to ensure work packages are ready to work and be placed on the daily and weekly work schedules with input provided by WWS. The Expeditor is also responsible for coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, and other Hanford Contractors to ensure resources are utilized to maximum productivity and efficiency. The Expeditor supports Managers, Field Work Supervisors (FWSs) and Shift Operations Managers (SOMs) as the Overtime Administrator.

  • Obtaining and reviewing work documents (e.g., Radiological Work Permits [RWPs], permits, procedures) to ensure documents are current and ready for work
  • Delivering work packages to the FWS or SOM prior to scheduling (e.g., pre-work review, Lockout/Tagout [LOTO] preparation)
  • Verifying material and workability status
  • Assisting with work package closeout process
  • Performing other administrative tasks as directed
  • Providing work package control for ready-to-work packages
  • Attend various weekly meetings as part of the rolling work week schedule process
  • Maintain craft overtime hour tracking in conjunction with facilitating overtime requests and approvals
  • Coordinate signage requests to ensure uniform appearance and reduce duplication due to incorrect sizing
  • May act as a delegate for WWS
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in related field and 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, EAM software.

Benefits & conditions

Grade 16: $90,150 - $113,550

The grade level offered to the selected candidate will be based on business needs and the candidate's education, training, and/or relevant experience.
