Inspect assembler's work throughout their build process which can include checking for correct component placement, making sure terminations are correctly crimped, and all terminals are torqued to build specifications.

Use the appropriate tools to inspect units

Ensure builds follow all procedures & are kept to a high standard

Be able to explain an issue in a positive way to the builders, and turn it into a process learning experience.

Works well within a team and can stay on task while working independently

Mechanical assembly as needed., * Performs miscellaneous duties and participates in training as assigned by a supervisor.

Occasional travel may be required.

Follows all company policies, procedures, work rules, and company safety rules, including machine operation.

Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Power tools?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Do you have an eye for detail, appreciate when things are neat and orderly, and have an ability to turn mistakes into a learning experience?, The Quality Assurance Technician 1 will be capable of successfully inspecting crimps, wire, torque, placement, and labeling of the correct components used in electrical enclosures.
Attention to detail & pattern recognition are key in this position. Applicants should have no problem focusing on minute details while engaging in monotonous tasks.
This position will require the ability to learn new skills, be comfortable with technology, basic circuitry, the ability to multitask, along with being able to work to a high standard of quality and excellence., * Have organization skills and the ability to start and stop multiple tasks.

Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and reach for long periods of time., The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The job duties regularly require prolonged periods of standing and bending over control panels while building. Walking throughout the building and grounds are also required. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; bend; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel:
Some out of town travel may be required. A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance are required., · Attention to detail is KEY

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum one year experience in a fast-paced environment working with clients and/or customers, * High school or equivalent (Preferred), * Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
