Job description

The Information Technology Support Technician is responsible for supporting and maintaining in-house technology equipment and IT/AV assets. This includes installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading corporate hardware and software while ensuring optimal performance. The position also provides troubleshooting, end-user support, training, and assistance to ensure seamless technology operations across the property., * Support and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming.

  • Assist in developing business continuity and disaster recovery plans; maintain knowledge of plan executables and respond to crises as needed.
  • Install, configure, test, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user devices, network hardware, printers, scanners, presentation systems, and related software.
  • Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex IT and hardware problems, implementing corrective solutions and coordinating off-site repairs as necessary.
  • Provide Audio/Visual (AV) support and communicate with third-party AV vendors as required.
  • Deliver training and support to end users and staff on equipment operation and system use.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of IT and networking equipment, including monitors, servers, routers, switches, and peripheral devices.
  • Document all instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
  • Track and manage IT hardware/equipment contracts, including contract-based installations.
  • Respond promptly to IT support requests via calls, pages, and emails.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Wireshark?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Required:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma.
  • Two (2) years of experience installing and troubleshooting Windows operating systems, desktop hardware, and Microsoft products, with exposure to deploying and maintaining servers and network equipment in a data center.
  • One (1) year of experience working in an Active Directory environment using system tools such as WireShark, Fluke Meter, Altiris, and Ghost.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Previous experience in a casino setting.
  • Experience with gaming systems, table game systems, cash-dispensing systems, and kiosk technology.

Preferred:

  • Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA A+, or Network+ certification., * Exposure to varying conditions including weather, confined spaces, noise, dust, chemicals/fumes, heights, and secondhand smoke.
  • Requires regular lifting of up to 50 lbs., physical agility, balance, coordination, and dexterity for handling IT equipment.
  • Involves extended periods of mobility, standing, and occasional overtime or extended hours.
  • Requires concentration, analytical thinking, and decision-making under time pressure.
